Communication among the National and Local Unions is key. Though we would like to be able to inform all members of news and events that effect their Local Unions through General Membership meetings and work site postings, we aknowledge that a few members may not have access to information. Given that many are not able to attend meetings due to work shifts or other obstacles, we would like to establish email contact lists. When we have publications or documents that can be of interest, you can be emailed. Bay City NUCLEAR Sites
126 New NUPSA Members at the South Texas Project-Bay City,Texas
March 13th, 2008: Our Union is now one of the fastest growing security enforcement officers Union, as members voted to have NUPSA represent them and be their exclusive representative bringing them into our union by a three to one vote.
This vote comes after over a year of organizing at the South Texas Project NUCLEAR Site that had its ups and downs. Our whole union can be proud of our victory there.
These brothers and sisters are joining our ranks to ensure a better future for themselves and their families.
One out of many other NUCLEAR Sites are now NUPSA members. Now we have to finish the job and organize NUCLEAR sites throughout Texas, coast-to-coast.
